Did you know there is a difference between a nanny and a governess? A nanny's main focus is childcare while a governess focuses on education
GovernessA governess placement, for our purposes, would be a placement for a child caregiver who's primary focus is education, (not to be confused with a tutor who is ONLY there for education). A governess also provides some childcare such as meal prep, nap time, and other activities while a tutor does not however, unlike a standard nanny her focus is education and not childcare- think homeschooling
As Needed
As needed placements, for our purposes, would be a placement
for childcare on a day school is closed, your regular provider is not available, date night, help on a family outing, sick child care, or any other time you need a little bit of help. There is a four hour minimum.
Personal Assistant
A personal assistant placement, for our purposes, would be a placement for making appointments, some clerical work, attending to the needs of the individual they were hired to help, driving, running errands, and more.
An errand services placement, for our purposes, would be a placement for running errands such as picking up prescriptions, dry cleaning, grocery shopping, to and from school pickups, walking dogs, and more.
Household Manager
A household manager placement, for our purposes, would be a placement for running the household, such as making appointments, researching and purchasing large household items, planning vacations, childcare, grocery shopping, whole house vacuuming, washing family laundry, family linens, dusting and possibly more.
Hotel / Vacation Nanny
A hotel/vacation care placement, for our purposes, would be a placement for a child caregiver for families staying at hotels, on vacation. The nanny can travel with you to your destination or come to the hotel you will be residing at.
Church Nanny
A church needs placement, for our purposes, would be a placement for a church during their services to provide group childcare or also childcare for weddings. No matter your needs we can help!

A newborn nanny placement, for our purposes, would be a placement for a child under the age of 5 months
Special Needs Nanny
A special needs nanny placement, for our purposes, would be a placement for a child with a disability either physical, mental, or emotional
Tutors
A tutor placement, for our purposes, would be a placement for helping with schoolwork typically on specific subjects such as math, science, languages or reading but may also encompass more than one subject lasting typically 1-2 hours (possibly more if needed)
Senior Elder caregiver
A senior/elder caregiver placement, for our purposes, would be a placement for an elderly person in need of a companion

Live Out Placement
A live out placement resides at their own residence and travels to and from their position as needed
Live In Placement
A live in placement resides at their family's residence and typically room and board are taken into consideration when offering salary. Standard quarters provided include their own bedroom as well as a private or shared bath and sometimes even a separate enterance.
Full Time Placement
For families in need of a full time placement we are here to help. A full time placement, for our purposes, would be a placement for 4 or more days per week and/or 25 or more hours per week.
Aside from traditonal new placements for families, our services can also help you blend a new nanny in and phase an old nanny out, help with transition from a current out-of-home provider into a nanny or help find you a newborn nanny. Our services can help you with developing a contract, checking backgrounds, and setting up house rules for your new placement.

For families in need of care 24 or less hours per week or 3 or less days per week.
Part
time care ranges from before school care, after school care, weekends,
regular evenings, or just a few days per week. Maybe you have a child in
preschool part time and need a nanny for the rest of the time. Some
parents use this option to have a couple of days per week to get to
appointments or meetings if they work from home or are self employed.
Whatever the reason, we are happy to help you find the placement that
you need.

Temporary / As needed / Vacation Services
Temporary services are if you are in need of once in a while care. There is a 4 hour minimum for any temporary care providers.
Temporary
services are offered in select location and offer services for
families staying at hotels, on vacation, for a night out, if their
regular provider is ill or on vacation, or if you just need some extra
help. These providers, like part time and full time placements, are
still paid by the families and are not employees of Quality Nanny
Services Inc.
